Even the ancient Egyptians knew that rosemary is a miraculous plant for hair. The Rosemary plant is used a lot in natural medicine to create health and beauty products. Its benefits are many and we are going to take advantage of them for our hair using a rosemary homemade spray.
Using rosemary for your hair, will give you many positive effects on their health and beauty: the rosemary, in fact, acts directly on the hair follicles, reducing hair loss and stimulating growth.

If you have oily scalp, rosemary will allow you to naturally purify it without irritating it. If your hair is fragile and thin, its use will make your hair shinier.

So let’s start preparing it !

You will need:

. Springs of rosemary
. Rosemary Essential Oil
. Empty Spray container

1.       To create your own hair spray rosemary you'll need very few ingredients and its preparation is quite simple. If you have sprigs of rosemary in your garden, take some and let them dry in the sun for a couple of days. If you do not have rosemary at home, you can buy it fresh or already dried in a herbalist’s shop.

2.       Once the rosemary is dry you should try to get a powder by grinding it, for example with a coffee grinder. With this rosemary powder you have to make an infusion: boil 5 tablespoons of rosemary in 250 ml of water and when the water has reached boiling, turn off the heat. Cover the mixture and let it cool for 15 minutes.

3.       Now your infusion is ready. Once it has cooled, pour it in an old spray container of 200-250 ml. To increase the effectiveness of the infusion of rosemary, add 5 drops of pure rosemary essential oil rosemary to it. You can easy find it in herbal medicine shop. The rosemary essential oil contains all the beneficial substances of this plant. Being highly concentrated, its addition to the infusion of rosemary increases the effectiveness of the spray benefits for your hair.

You can reap the benefits of this rosemary spray in various ways: you can vaporize it, even every day, on dry hair to make them shiny, apply it to any lengths to strengthen the hair. In addition, in the case of oily hair or irritated scalp you can massage it on the skin whenever you need it; addition, you can use it before every shampoo as anti-fall and strengthening hair mask.

For better results try adding two or three drops of other essential oils. Choose the ones you need according to your hair type:

·         Calendula essential oil: perfect to give light and strength to dull and undernourished hair.
