Do we really need fashion? OR IS IT FASHION THAT NEEDS US?

http://www.style.com/fashion-shows/fall-2013-ready-to-wear/milan/dolce-gabbana/collection/_DOL0361.450x675.JPGDon't you believe that fashion is a conditioning? I mean, if it wasn't so, there would be no fashion, no imposition of a taste, a model or color to the public, who accepts the choices made by others: choices imposed precisely because they're "all the rage".

If us (women especially but I’ve seen also a lot of men going crazy about fashion :P) wouldn't stare in front of shops, newspapers, fashion magazines and advertizing, there would be no fashion. It has become a really big industry making money out of our ''controlled minds".

CLOTHING TAGS: did you know their meanings?

In this post I wanna talk about a really bad experience with my new dress.
After wearing it for the first time, if thought that there wouldn't be any problem if I washed it in the washing machine. But I was wrong, because what I pulled out of the washing machine was a miniature of my dress. I just couldn't believe my eyes. It became so small that it wouldn't fit me anymore.
I was really sad about my dress, not only because it was new, but also because I liked its color a lot. I immediately realized that something went wrong because of the settings I set for the washing machine. I only matched my dress color to the other clothes I was about to put to the washing machine and didn't think about it's composition. It was actually made of some kind of material, whose name I don't really know. I should have paid more attention to my dress' clothing tag.

I looked back twice at the clothing tag, and actually didn't know how to translate those symbols in there.

So I did a little research about those symbols so I could give them a meaning. I know that a lot women don't know their meaning. I remember asking my mum sometimes and she didn't know the meaning of some of those symbols either.
Even if I found this funny clothing tag picture on the net, I'm sure not all of you know their meaning, right?

So, here are my little research results.

FLIP FLOPS: I'm loving them ! :D

Hello girls ! I wanna talk to you about one of my biggest loves: FLIP FLOPS.

They're amazing: not only colorful and beautiful, they're also really really comfortable. They're also cheap and you I love the variety of models you can find on shops.

The main reason why I'm love with these shoes is that they're actually the only ones that let your feet literally breathe. In these hot days it's all about a struggle between my feet and my shoes! I really can't wear anything else between these lovely shoes :)

BUT: THE BAD SIDE....

Leave In Miraculous Homemade Hair Spray !!

Here's how my hair looks after using the spray as a mask :D
Even the ancient Egyptians knew that rosemary is a miraculous plant for hair. The Rosemary plant is used a lot in natural medicine to create health and beauty products. Its benefits are many and we are going to take advantage of them for our hair using a rosemary homemade spray.
Using rosemary for your hair, will give you many positive effects on their health and beauty: the rosemary, in fact, acts directly on the hair follicles, reducing hair loss and stimulating growth.

If you have oily scalp, rosemary will allow you to naturally purify it without irritating it. If your hair is fragile and thin, its use will make your hair shinier.

So let’s start preparing it !

Boost your beauty: JUNE is the right month to start ! 11 foods to consume

Did you girls know that June is the National Fruit and Vegetable Month? If you want to find beauty in your bowl this is the right moment to start! In June you can find the highest number of growing fruits and vegetables that can boost not only your heath, but also your beauty!
Fill your plate with different colors and reap the health benefits. So here's the list of how they influence you:

1. Strawberries (these I love :D)
The heart-shaped silhouette of the strawberry is the first clue that this fruit is good for you. These potent little packages protect your heart, increase HDL (good) cholesterol, lower your blood pressure, and guard against cancer.

Packed with vitamins, fiber, and particularly high levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols, strawberries are a sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, low-calorie food. They are among the top 20 fruits in antioxidant capacity and are a good source of manganese and potassium. Just one serving -- about eight strawberries -- provides more vitamin C than an orange.

This member of the rose family isn’t really a fruit or a berry but the enlarged receptacle of the flower. Choose medium-sized berries that are firm, plump, and deep red; once picked, they don’t ripen further. First cultivated in ancient Rome, strawberries are now the most popular berry fruit in the world. In provincial France, they were regarded as an aphrodisiac. These red gems may be good for your heart in more ways than one.

2. Peas

Nutrient composition isn’t usually the first thing that comes to mind when we think of peas- but maybe it should be. Sweet and somewhat starchy, yes…but they also contain health-protective phytonutrients, anti inflammatory benefits and immune boosting vitamins. Green peas contain the following beauty boosting benefits for:

Sun Is Up: BIKINI TIME !

During cold winter days we’re always looking forward to sunny, hot days to come. But now that summer is here, us women have some big problems to worry about. Personally I'm afraid of the upcoming swimsuit season, with the extra pounds I'm still carrying from the holidays. It’s not about weight I’m going to talk in this post. I’ll talk about it later. (Maybe I’m not mentally prepared yet :D)

So I’ve been searching about some new swimwear for this year. There are great models out there and I really don’t know what to choose. It’s not a question about patterned or plain, red or blue. It’s all about size and how they fit you.

First of all, bikini fits you better if it’s you exact size, not bigger, nor smaller. Sound banal but I know a lot of girl who don’t wear their size.

MOST IMPORTANT THING to remember when choosing a bikini: Just because you love the look of a certain style doesn't mean it's going to flatter your body type.

I’ve chosen some bikini  to suggest you according to your body type. They’re really nice and cheap. So consider them and let me know :)

For example: If you have a boyish, athletic body, then you need a suit to create curves and boost your bust line.

you can buy these for just $12.16

they only have large sizes of these unfortunately - $13.24

If you have small breast,

Awesome Gift Idea

THE RIGHT PRESENT: it is so hard to find !

I always get so stressed when I have to find a present for my boyfriend ! In some occasions I spend a lot of time searching for the right one. I want to be original, creative and always want to impress him. Besides, who wouldn't? :P
But the more time goes by, the more I run out of ideas.

I noticed something really impressive in a stamp shop yesterday and I wanted to share it with you: these PILLOWS cases. They're really impressive! I had seen pillow cases with photos printed on them. And a lot of people have used that idea. But this one is different and it hasn't been consumed yet.  You can find the ones that fit you best, they’re creative, and you can customize them the way you want, with the colors you like the most. And they’re very cheap. (financial crisis: you know what I'm talking about)

So there are only pros and no cons about giving a present like this. I would like a present like this too and I'm sure my HIM will be happy! So I'm saving this idea for the next occasion. ^_^

I choose some pictures so that you can choose from a variety of them.  The last one is my favorite. So tell me, which one is your favorite?

mr. right & mrs. always right (the one I saw on the shop)

Hello Girls :)

Hello Girls !

I’m Meg and I’m here because I believe that young women are rarely given the opportunity to speak on their own behalf on issues that affect their lives. I could call myself a feminist supporter. (it’s not that I think that women should rule the world, but why not :P)

I want to share with you my daily dose of women's health news and analysis.

Because I like taking care of myself: it makes me feel good and every woman should do the same, because every woman is special and gorgeous in her own way. You just have to find your strongest points and show them up.

Nobody is better than you!

That’s why I want to share with you girls some pieces of my everyday life, some of my experiences; give you advices and ask you for them. Sooooooo, follow me and let’s get going ! ;)
